From RI DOH:

Clinicians practicing Tele-health will abide by the latest NBCC "Policy Regarding the Provision of Distance Professional Service” and AAMFT "Best Practices in the Online Practice of Couple and Family Therapy" and will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with legal and ethical guidelines. Training in providing Tele-Health is strongly recommended. 

In addition to the two resources above, a third article included in "Review of Technology in Your Practice," breaks down AAMFT's Standard 6 in the AAMFT Ethical Code. Please see links for resources below.
