Please join us outdoors at beautiful Beavertail State Park for a 3 CEU Training and Workshop on Friday May 13, 2022, from 9am to noon. (Rain Date: May 20) Please bring a chair or a blanket, and feel free to bring your own refreshments. As always, our RIAMFT Members will recieve special discounted ticket rates for this event.
Learning Objectives:
-Participants will increase their awareness of the impact of grief and loss on children and teens based on their unique challenges
- Participants will identify and utilize available resources for grieving children and teens
-Gain useful tools for adult caregivers in helping children through the grieving process
Our special guest presenter for the morning will be Ryan Loiselle, MSW, LICSW, who has been working with grieving children, teens and families for over 19 years.
Ryan Loiselle, LICSW is the program director for FRIENDS WAY. In his role, Loiselle manages the day-to-day operations including intake, referrals and community outreach, as well as supervising the volunteer facilitators. In 2001, Loiselle began his tenure at FRIENDS WAY as a volunteer group facilitator.
